where are the must-see places in australia and south east asia? if you have travelled round the world for a year or however long, what tips or advice would you give?

I have lived in every state in australia(cept tassy) and been to east timor and indonesia.

My father lives in indo and travels around south east asia regularly.

the 7 colour waterfalls in east timor (very hard to find and get to)
the great barrier reef.
a BIG market anywhere in asia.
on an elephant on a beach in thailand.
borobadur
The black sands of Bali, and Ubud.
Where the rainforrest meets the sea, in Queensland.
Kakadu.
If they like cities,melbourne is the best in Australia. Adelaide and Perth are ok too..
avoid sydney.. they are the most obnoxious in australia.
JogJakarta is the best in indo.(apparently)
Kuala Lumpur is the best in south east asia.(apparently)
come and visit me in Canberra. Its the best city to live in in Australia, wich is one of the best places to live in the world..

I have not travelled to Nepal, but my aunt and uncle who travel extensively said it was one of the most beautiful and interesting places they have ever seen. They mentioned Burma as well.
